Don’t be “listless”

Listless means lacking enthusiasm or energy. Listless is only a short distance from lazy. What is the best way to avoid being listless? Make a list of course!!

January 5th, 2012I have toyed with the idea of a blog for several years, but until now I have lacked the motivation to start tapping away on the keys to make it happen. One of the reasons that I didn’t start a blog was that I simply didn’t know what to write about. To a certain extent this is still the case, however I am starting to pull my ideas together. I am about to embark on one of life’s adventures and will be moving far from my family and friends – so this blog will be a way for me to keep in touch with you all. However my blog is open to anybody else who also wishes to read it.

I don’t have any experience in blogging or website production so please bear with me while I fumble my way through these early stages. This first entry is just a brief one and is more of a test post. I will put up something more substantial in the coming days. For now, welcome to my page! I hope you will join me in my adventures. This is going to be somewhat of a travel blog, but will also include lots of other random things such as restaurant and wine reviews and the odd book and/or film review.
